Oct. 7: Jewish Federation of Cleveland One Year Commemoration

A community-wide gathering to remember and mourn all those killed in Israel and in Gaza, and pray for the day when neighbors can live side-by-side in peace.

Oct. 7: Complete and Green Streets 101: Reimagining Mobility

A panel from the League of Women Voters of Greater Cleveland will offer a more in-depth understanding of the benefits of complete and green streets and suggest ways to work within your own community to make streets safe for all.

Oct. 7: Last day to register to vote for the Nov. 5 election

Be sure to double check your voter registration status. You can register online or in person at the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections.

Oct. 8: Monthly Civilian Police Review Board (CPRB) hearing 

At CPRB’s hearing this month, the board is expected to vote to approve operating manuals that would guide civilian-led police reform efforts in cases involving resident complaints.

Oct 12: Community Healing Space for Palestine and Lebanon

A healing and processing space led by community mental health professionals and advocates with Arab Americans of Cleveland Young Professionals Network, Cleveland Palestine Advocacy Community, Allies Against Apartheid and Palestinian Youth Movement.
