July 19
Butterflies & Bubbles Walk-A-Thon
Survived to Live will be hosting the Butterflies & Bubbles Walk-A-Thon on Saturday, July 19, from 10 a.m. to noon. Come celebrate women in all aspects of recovery by walking the track at Dwayne Browder Field.
Tracy Patton is hoping to make this an annual event. She invites the community the come out and celebrate joy.
“If you have survived, now it’s time to live,” Patton said. “Join Survived to Live for women in recovery by coming to our health and wellness walk. I hope the community comes out to support and have a good time.”
There will be local vendors, music, a bubble send off and more. All proceeds will benefit Survived to Live, a non-profit dedicated to helping women in recovery. Dwayne Browder Field is located at 5077 Outhwaite Ave. For more information, contact Tracy Patton at 216-278-6100 or click here.
Hey Mama! Wellness Within
Sisters Haven will be hosting the Hey Mama Wellness Within workshop on Saturday, July 19, from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. This space offers mothers a chance to connect while participating in activities focused on mental and physical well being. There will be raffles, refreshments and more. The workshop will take place at the Eastman Library Branch, located at 11602 Lorain Ave. Registration is required. July 20
Taste of Tremont
Tremont will be hosting the Taste of Tremont on Sunday, July 20, from noon to 8 p.m. Enjoy a day of food vendors, live music, shopping and connecting with the community. Pets are asked to stay home due to the large crowds and warm temperatures. The Taste will take place at 2406 Professor Ave. For more information, such as where to park, click here.
Little Italy Potluck in the Park
Are you looking to meet some new people? The residents of Little Italy will be hosting a Potluck in the Park on Sunday, July 20, from noon to 4 p.m. They are asking attendees to bring a dish to share and a lawn chair or blanket. Back to School Community Day
Temple Baptist Church will be hosting Back to School Community Day on Sunday, July 27, from noon to 4 p.m. This event will include free haircuts, clothes, hot meals, backpacks and more while supplies last. Community Baby Shower
Community of Faith Assembly will be hosting a Community Baby Shower on Sunday, July 27, at 2 p.m. There will be speakers, food, games, gifts and more.
