Cleveland artists who are in need of materials, resources and community support will be able to find it this weekend.

Cleveland Play House’s CLE: United Thru Art will host its first-ever free event dedicated to helping local unknown artists connect to different city art programs, industry professionals and art-based services.

The goal is to welcome marginalized artists to network and give them the support and platform they need to succeed, said Marcel Rodriguez-Gonzalez, director of community development at Cleveland Play House

“It’s a big opportunity for connections, cultural exchanges, creative expression and healing,” Rodriguez-Gonzalez said. “We want to bring these artists to the center. We want to show them their art, their work matters,” Rodriguez-Gonzalez said.
