Happy early Labor Day, Cleveland! Typically, this is the last major summer holiday before we transition into the brisk mornings and early sunsets of fall. As many of us will enjoy next Monday off, take some time for you and your loved ones to enjoy these free and low-cost events in Cleveland this week.

Drawn & Quartered
Drawn & Quartered returns Saturday, Aug. 31, from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Established figure and drawing groups meet and draw against each other while racing the clock and entertaining the audience. Juan Quirarte, one of the event co-founders, thinks the event gives attendees a fun, behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to draw under pressure.

“Drawn and Quartered exposes the community to the creative process as they watch these talented artists draw on the fly,” Quirarte said. “The competition is played for laughs, but the teams really want to be the winners.”
Free parking will be available. This event will take place at the Brownhoist, located at 4403 St. Clair Ave. For more information, click here.
