Hey there, Cleveland! After a disheartening end to the Guardians’ season and the continuing struggles of the Browns on and off the field, let’s have some fun this week with these free events.

The Spot State of the Youth Forum
The Spot Youth Empowerment Organization is hosting the Spot State of the Youth Forum on Friday, Oct. 25 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. This event focuses on young people ages 14-25, who will lead peer-to-peer discussions about things that are important to them. Event organizer Teralawanda Aaron wants the city to come out and hear what the youth have to say.
“This is a chance for young people to talk about their experiences and what they want. We have to listen to our kids because they suffer a lot,” Aaron said. “It’s up to the older generations to listen and do what we can to help.”
There will be a chance to meet public officials and do some networking, and refreshments will be provided. The Spot Youth Empowerment Organization will also collect hats and gloves for Project Warm to distribute this winter. The Youth Forum will take place at Da’Vine Events, located at 1258 E. 105 St. To register for this event or for more information, contact Terralawanda Aaron at 216-323-6049 or [email protected].
