Every month in Cuyahoga County, local government agencies, neighborhood organizations and nonprofits host hiring events, job fairs and networking opportunities.

While Cuyahoga County’s unemployment rate — which is currently resting at 4.7% — is one of the lowest of Ohio’s 88 counties, local businesses, child care centers and city governments have continued to experience staffing challenges following the 2020 worker exodus. In fact, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce reports 1.7 million fewer people in the national workforce than before the COVID-19 pandemic.

Regardless of whether you are one of these 1.7 million Americans or are simply curious about a career change, there are three hiring events to explore employment opportunities in Cuyahoga County this month.
