Sept. 4: County Division of Children and Family Services
The early-August storms that left hundreds of thousands in Northeast Ohio without power also disrupted some local government meetings. An advisory board to the Cuyahoga County Division of Children and Family Services, for example, rescheduled its Aug. 7 meeting. Documenters are set to cover the rescheduled event. Follow along in person at Cuyahoga County headquarters, 2079 E. 9th St. in Cleveland, or on Microsoft Teams beginning at 4 p.m.
Sept. 5: State of the County
The City Club of Cleveland hosts the State of the County with Cuyahoga County Executive Chris Ronayne on Thursday, Sept. 5. The event is sold out but, rest assured, our Government Reporter Nick Castele will be there and will report back.
Sept. 6: Cleveland Photo Fest kickoff
The Cleveland Photo Fest starts on Friday, Sept. 6. This year’s fest consists of seven different exhibits, the centerpiece of which is a series of black-and-white portraits of Cuyahoga County’s mayors and municipal executives. Photos are taken by a diverse and talented group of both professional and amateur camera workers.
