Hey Cleveland, there are many fun and interesting things going on in the city. From the Cavs beginning their championship quest to thousands of people coming here to enjoy the Thyagaraja Festival, the city is booming with activity. There are plenty of other things coming for you and your family too –let’s see what’s on deck for the weekend.

Día del Niño (Children’s Day)
Día del Niño (Children’s Day): Comité Mexicano de Cleveland will be hosting Día del Niño on Saturday, April 26, from noon to 3 p.m. This event will include games, arts and crafts, community resources, giveaways, food and more. Rey Esparza, president of Comité Mexicano de Cleveland, invites the community to come out for this celebration of children.
“This is our sixth year hosting this event. We wanted to create a space where children feel valued, celebrated and joyful,” Esparza said. “Bring your family, neighbors and community spirit. Let’s make this Día del Niño one to remember.”

Every child will be provided with one free toy and a free lunch. This event will take place at the Pivot Center for Art, Dance and Expression, located at 2937 W. 25 St. Registration is not required. For more information, click here.

Community Spring Clean Up
Community spring clean up: MidTown Cleveland Inc. will be hosting a community spring clean up on Saturday, April 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Interact with your neighbors while tidying up the Midtown, Hough and AsiaTown neighborhoods. Cleaning supplies will be provided. Breakfast and lunch will also be served. Volunteers should meet at the parking lot of the Agora offices, located here. Registration is encouraged. Feria de Cleveland (Fair of Cleveland)
Abrepaso Flamenco will be hosting Feria de Cleveland on Sunday, April 27, from 2 to 6 p.m. The fair will include Spanish dance, food, music, crafts and more. Looking to sharpen your tango skills? There will be a short tango lesson offered in addition to a fashion competition for the best-dressed participants. The fair will take place at the Julio De Burgos Cultural Arts Center, located at 2800 Archwood Ave. Registration is required. To secure your tickets, click here.

A Night Under the Stars
The Prolific Achievers Academy and the Sisterly Collective will be hosting A Night under the Stars on Saturday, April 26, from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Come and chill at the Prolific Oxygen Dome (POD). Activities will include sound therapy, yoga, stretching, food and more. Early arrival is encouraged. Dress comfortably, and bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillow or anything else you need to relax.
