A resource fair in Cleveland Heights on May 14 is designed to connect residents with employment opportunities, public health services, summer activities for children and other programs.

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) event will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Cleveland Heights Community Center, 1 Monticello Blvd, Cleveland Heights.

The Connecting Communities: HHS Resource Fair will include representatives from more than 30 county agencies and community-based organizations. Attendees will be able to do things such as sign up children for summer activities and meet with staff regarding public benefits, including Medicaid and SNAP, and talk to county workers about child support cases.

These resource fairs allow us to provide one-on-one services that residents are asking for, and I’m grateful to all the County staff that volunteered to meet the residents where they live.”
