Hey everyone, I know many of us are feeling a mixed bag of emotions right now. After a long week of post-election politics, let’s all take some time to breathe and center ourselves, with these free and low-cost events in Cleveland this week.

Family Fall Fest
The Cleveland Public Library and Cleveland Reads will be hosting Family Fall Fest on Saturday, Nov. 16, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. This event will include pumpkin painting, kid-friendly games and activities, and more. Author and motivational speaker MoNique Kirkland will guide participants through the event. Hoops and Haircuts
The Suns Basketball Academy will be hosting Hoops and Haircuts on Saturday, Nov. 16, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Kids can participate in a 3-on-3 basketball competition and enjoy games and a concession stand while getting their hair done. There will be several stylists. Girls must bring their own braiding hair. Please come with hair washed and blow dried. Adult cuts, braids and retwists will be $20, while children’s cuts will be $10. Cleveland Museum of Art, Decompression
The Cleveland Tea and Coffee Social Meetup will be hosting an election decompression at the Cleveland Museum of Art on Friday, Nov. 15, from 5:45 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. This meetup is designed to be a space for residents to come together and recharge after a long election season. Participants will break into small groups and explore all of the main galleries. The group will be going to dinner afterwards at Cafe Tandoor for anyone interested. The museum is located at 11150 East Blvd. The group will meet at the large atrium right next to the Museum Cafe at 5:45 sharp. For more information, click here.

Swap Meet
The Community Arts Center, in partnership with Susie Underwood, will be hosting a swap meet on Saturday, Nov. 16, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This meet is designed for artists to exchange art supplies. Feel free to bring art items you may be trying to get off your hands while making connections with other local artists. The Swap Meet will be held at the Community Arts Center, located at 2937 W. 25 St. For more information, click here.
