The Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) is hosting 10 community meetings in April as district leaders continue to plan budget cuts, including potential school building closures, and academic improvements.
The community input sessions are part of the CMSD’s “Building Brighter Futures” initiative, a plan to cut $30 million in expenses while closing gaps in academic quality between the district’s schools. There will be seven in-person meetings at schools across Cleveland as well as three online meetings.
