Saturday is the first day of winter, and it is bringing the chill.

With temperatures expected to take a dive, the City of Cleveland is opening several recreation centers so residents can stay warm.

A winter weather advisory is in effect until 10 p.m. on Saturday. A burst of lake effect snow will lead the front, followed by lake effect snow showers. Expect temperatures to stay in the low 20’s overnight with highs in the mid 20’s Saturday and Sunday.

In anticipation of the upcoming cold temperatures, city officials said they will make four recreation centers available as warming sites, according to a news release. Here are the dates, sites and hours of operation.
