Northeast Ohio helped re-launch the LGBTQ+-centering former Broadway musical and is home to four current or planned productions. As the show’s lyricist told The Buckeye Flame, “‘The Prom’ is serving not only as entertainment, but a strong reminder that we are all created equal.”
