Cleveland Metroparks is looking to fill 1,000 seasonal spring and summer job openings.
Applicants can attend a job fair on March 15 from 10 a.m. to noon next Saturday at Stillwater Place, which is part of the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. The zoo’s address is 3900 Wildlife Way, Cleveland. No zoo admission fee is required to attend the job fair.
Many positions are available. They include: bartender, kitchen supervisor, concessions supervisor, line cook, seasonal horticulturist, golf camp counselor, park maintenance worker, lifeguard, seasonal animal keeper and turf specialist. Click here for the listing of available jobs.

The openings are at several Cleveland Metroparks locations, including: Edgewater Beach House, Huntington Beach, Merwin’s Wharf, Villa Angela Beach, East 55th Street Marina and Garfield Reservation.

Most of the seasonal positions offer a 40-hour workweek and are open to those 16 and older. Employment dates vary by position but range from spring through mid-October. Hiring managers will be at the job fair to speak about the jobs.

Harold Harrison, Cleveland Metroparks’ chief human resources and diversity officer, said that the seasonal positions fit a variety of ages and skill levels and offer those who land them the opportunity to work at a highly rated institution. In 2021, Cleveland Metroparks received the National Gold Medal “Best in the Nation” Award for Excellence in Parks and Recreation Management by the American Academy for Park and Recreation Administration.
