As we said in Monday’s Power Rankings, “the Cavs are reminding us that in Cleveland, joy is never given; it’s earned.”

Fans hope to get a dose of joy Friday night as the Cleveland Cavaliers travel to Florida to play the Orlando Magic in Game 6 of their NBA playoff series. The Cavs are up three games to two and could advance to the next round of the playoffs with a win. The team will host an official playoff road game watch party at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. General admission tickets for the watch party, presented by Sherwin-Williams, are on sale now for $5. The proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Cavaliers Community Foundation.

Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse will open at 6 p.m., one hour before tipoff. Fans will watch the game live on the HUMONGOTRON. Cavs in-arena host Ahmaad Crump will be on hand for the watch party. Cavs mascots Moondog and Sir CC are scheduled to join Crump in getting fans fired up for the game. According to NBA.com, “There will be photo opportunities, interactive games, and fun-filled activities available to enjoy through the end of halftime.”

The Cleveland Cavaliers won the first two games of the series. They traveled to Orlando and lost the next two. The team won back home at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse this past Tuesday.

Only if necessary

If the series goes to Game 7, it will be played on Sunday, May 5, at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. The time has not been announced. Tickets would go on sale on Saturday, May 4.
