I Am Black History
The Friendly Inn will be hosting I Am Black History on Thursday, Feb. 27, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. This interactive Black history program will feature Black history trivia, youth performances, raffles, prizes, food and more. Camp, School & Fun Fair
Northeast Ohio Parent Magazine will be hosting the Camp, School & Fun Fair on Sunday, March 2, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be complimentary tote bags for the first 125 people to register, glitter tattoos, kids’ activities and more. The fair will take place at Adrenaline Monkey, located at 26800 Renaissance Parkway. Mentally Mangled Mental Health Tour
Second New Hope Baptist Church will be hosting the Mentally Mangled Mental Health Tour on Saturday, March 1, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This event will focus on the importance of mental health and faith. Cleveland Kurentovanje Festival and Parade
Cleveland Kurentovanje will be hosting their 13th annual festival and parade on Saturday, March 1, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This “Slovenian Mardi Gras” celebrates the end of winter and the beginning of spring. Event organizer Kathy Walters is looking forward to having a chance to connect with the community.
“This is an opportunity to bring Slovenian culture to life and celebrate the vibrant tapestry of the St. Clair-Superior neighborhood through a diverse program of events,” Walters said.
