Hey Cleveland, I hope you’re having a great week. We are halfway through April – can you believe it? Hopefully, these April showers will bring us beautiful May flowers. In the meantime, there are some interesting family-friendly events going on this week in and around Cleveland. Let’s see what’s coming up.

Black Male Teen Summit
Young Men Growing will be hosting the 2nd annual Black Male Teen Summit on Saturday, April 19, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. This event, designed for Black males ages 13-18, will include breakout sessions, giveaways, lunch and more. There will also be a session specifically for parents, discussing how to raise strong, well-rounded young men. The summit will be held at the Tri-C Eastern Campus, located at 4250 Richmond Road. Easter Egg Hunt
We Got Heart and the Cleveland Division of Police 5th District will host an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 19, from 1 to 3:30 p.m. This event, for children 12 and under, will include food, games, bounce houses, an egg hunt and more.

Officer Renshaw encourages families to attend.
“I just want people to come out and have some clean, safe fun while enjoying each other and spending time in the community,” Renshaw said.

Recovery Outreach Resource Fair
Fountain of Grace and Grace Recovery Cafe will be hosting a resource fair on Wednesday, April 16. This event will feature community resources, food, a clothing giveaway and more. Tabletop Game Day
Bookhouse Brewing will be hosting Tabletop Game Day on Sunday, April 20, at 2 p.m. Games will be provided by Tabletop or patrons can bring their own games. There will be games for all ages and food and drinks available for purchase. Bookhouse Brewing is located at 1526 W. 25th St. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
