BBQ and toy giveaway
The Glenville Elite Panthers will be hosting a BBQ and toy giveaway on Friday, May 23, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. This event will include free food and drinks, kickball, flag football, relay races, double Dutch and more. Each child will receive a free toy while supplies last. The child must be present to receive the free toy.
Kids of all ages are encouraged to attend. Coach Sean Perkins, one of the event organizers, wants families to come and have some outdoor fun.
“I want it to be a fun day in the field,” Perkins said. “Instead of just being inside the house on the video game or phones all day, they can unplug and play.”
This event will take place at Robert Bump Taylor Field, located at 11901 Durant Ave. Registration is not required. For more information, contact Perkins at 216-355-9812.
