This week, Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb held a press conference to debrief Clevelanders on how crime rates have changed this summer versus previous summers.
The mayor discussed trends in violent crimes such as murder, assault and rape, as well as property crimes like car theft, burglary and arson. He also praised workers from various city departments, not just the Cleveland Division of Police, for their work to try to create better, safer environments in Cleveland neighborhoods.
